European traders reported on Thursday that Jordan's state grain buyer had issued an international tender for the purchase of up to 120,000 tons of animal feed barley.

The deadline to submit price offers for the tender is November 20.

Jordan's failure to purchase 120,000 tons barley in its previous tender on Wednesday had led to a new announcement.

The tender seeks to ship a number of combinations between 50,000 and 60,000 tons in 2025, from Jan. 1 to Jan. 15, Jan. 16-31 and Feb. 1-14.

The same shipping periods are listed as those in the Wednesday's bid.

Jordan has also released a separate tender for the purchase of 120,000 tons wheat, which closes on November 19. (Reporting and editing by Tomasz Janovowski, with Michael Hogan)
