Jordanian traders claim that the country has issued a tender for up to 120,000 T wheat.
The state grain buyer of Jordan has announced an international tender for up to 120,000 tons of milling whey that can come from optional origins.
The deadline for submitting price offers to the tender is on April 8.
The traders had expected a new announcement after Jordan's previous tender for wheat of 120,000 tons on Tuesday, which Jordan bought 50,000 tons.
The new tender seeks to ship a variety of consignments ranging from 50,000 to 60 000 tons.
The possible shipment combinations include July 1-15, 16-31 July, and 1-15 August.
On Wednesday, a separate Jordanian tender for animal feed barley up to 120,000 tonnes closes. (Reporting and editing by Michael Hogan)
