Jordan's state grain purchaser has announced an international tender for up to 120,000 tons of milling whey that can come from optional origins.

The deadline for submitting price offers to the tender is March 11, 2019.

Traders had expected a new announcement after Jordan failed to purchase 120,000 tons wheat in its previous tender on Tuesday.

The new tender seeks to ship a variety of consignments ranging from 50,000 to 60 000 tons.

Combinations of shipments are possible between May 16 and 31, June 1-15 June 16-30 July 1-15 July 16-31.

The deadline for a separate Jordanian tender to purchase up to 120,00 tons of animal feed barley is March 5. Michael Hogan is reporting, Tomaszjanowski is editing.
