Jordan offers to purchase up to 120,000 tonnes of wheat, traders claim

The state grain buyer of Jordan has announced an international tender for up to 120,000 tons of milling whey that can come from any origin, European traders reported on Wednesday.

The deadline to submit price proposals in the tender is November 19.

The traders had expected a new announcement after Jordan's previous tender of 120,000 tons wheat Tuesday, which Jordan bought 60,000 tons.

The new tender seeks to ship in combinations of 50,000-60,000 tons. Combinations of shipment are possible in 2025 between Jan. 16-31 and Feb. 1-14. Feb. 15-28, and March 1-15.

Jordan has also released a separate tender for the purchase of 120,000 tons animal feed barley, which closes this Wednesday. (Reporting and editing by Tomaszjanowski)
