European traders claim that Jordan's state grain purchaser is not believed to have purchased any barley in the international tender for animal feed barley, which closed on Tuesday.

Viterra, Bunge Ameropa, and Al Dahra are believed to have participated. The prices offered were not disclosed.

Jordan is likely to issue a new tender in the coming days for 120,000 tonnes of feed barley. The bid will close on October 9, according to traders. A new tender will be issued by Jordan in the coming days, with a deadline of Oct. 9. Traders said.

Jordan did not purchase barley in its previous bid for 120,000 tonnes of barley, which was held on September 25. Michael Hogan reports.
