Colonial allocates Cycle 36 shipments to distillate Line 20

Posted to Maritime Reporter on June 14, 2024

Colonial Pipeline Co has allocated space on Line 20 for Cycle 36 shipments, which transports distillates from Atlanta, Georgia, to Nashville, Tennessee. The company announced this in an email sent to shippers last Friday.

The pipeline operator has stated that the information on commitment will be available by June 17.

The company will announce allocations when the number of requests for space on its lines to ship petroleum products exceeds its capacity to meet a five-day lifting period.

* The cycles consist of five-day periods during which a series of products in season is pumped.

Every five days, Colonial Pumps uses the same products.

Colonial's pipeline system connects U.S. Gulf Coast refining facilities with markets in the south and east of the United States. It delivers gasoline, jet fuel, diesel and other refined products. (Reporting and editing by Jason Neely in Bengaluru, Anmol Choubey)
