The BC Maritime Employers Association has locked out all unionized supervisors in British Columbia ports. This has disrupted international shipping on the West Coast, and caused chaos throughout the supply chain.

Alberta has pledged to fight the new federal draft regulations that were released on Monday. These regulations will limit greenhouse gas emissions in Canada's oil & gas sector by 35 percent below levels for 2019.
