Bolivia is expecting five fuel cargoes to pass through Chile before April 4, YPFB reports
The company announced on Thursday that Bolivia's energy company YPFB will receive a total five cargoes of diesel and gasoline through Chile before April 4. Three of these cargoes are expected to be imported directly from Houston.
YPFB confirmed on Thursday the origin of the goods, in response LSEG shipping information showing that in recent months several tankers loaded at the Russian Baltic port of Vysotsk Primorsk in order to signal the Chilean Port of Arica as a point of discharge.
Unable to confirm the origins of the other two cargoes that were due to arrive at Arica, a spokesperson for YPFB could not confirm their arrival. Bolivia, a landlocked country, relies on regional port for diesel and gasoline.
