Ambulance service: Israeli military reports that a Yemeni missile landed near Tel Aviv and 14 people were lightly injured.
The Israeli military claimed that it did not intercept a Yemeni missile which fell early Saturday morning in the Tel Aviv/Jaffa region. According to the ambulance service, 14 people suffered mild injuries.
The ambulance service reported that 14 people were treated by paramedics for minor shrapnel wounds. Some were also taken to the hospital.
Israeli police received reports that a missile had fallen in a Tel Aviv-area town.
In what they call acts of solidarity, the Iran-backed Houthis group in Yemen has fired drones and rockets at Israel.
Israel threatened to launch more attacks on the Yemeni group after it launched strikes Thursday against energy and port infrastructure in Houthi held parts of Yemen. (Reporting and editing by Jaidaa T. Taha)
