Algeria offers to purchase nominal 50,000 T of feed barley, traders claim

The state grain agency of Algeria, OAIC, has announced an international tender for the purchase of a nominal 50,000 metric tonnes animal feed barley from origins that are optional. European traders confirmed this on Tuesday.

The deadline to submit price offers for the tender is Friday, February 14. Offers must remain valid through Thursday, February 13.

Barley can be shipped in three different periods, depending on the origin: from March 16-31 to April 1-15 or April 16-30.

Separate tenders by another Algerian state agency ONAB for the purchase of up to 240,00 tons of animal feed grain, 35,000 tonnes of feed barley and 35,000. tons of soybean meal closed on February 6, with results yet to be announced. Reporting by Gus Trompiz & Michael Hogan
