European traders reported on Monday that the Algerian state agency ONAB had issued international tenders for up to 240,00 metric tons animal feed corn, and 70,000 metric tons soymeal.

The deadline to submit price offers for the tenders is on Tuesday, November 26.

Only six consignments between 30,000 and 40,000 tons of corn are allowed to be shipped between December 5 and 20.

Two consignments of between 30,000 and 35,000 tons are required for shipping between December 20, 2024 and January 15, 2025.

On Nov. 20, ONAB purchased at least 40,000 tonnes of corn. Reporting by Gus Trompiz, Michael Hogan and Jason Neely.
