After the storm, oil loadings have resumed from Russia's Black Sea Port of Novorossiisk.
Two sources with knowledge of the situation said on Thursday that oil loadings at Russia's Black Sea Port of Novorossiisk resumed on Tuesday night, after being idle for two consecutive days due to storms.
The storm caused the suspension of oil loadings at the Russian Black Sea port Novorossiisk, but CPC Blend loadings continued from the Caspian Pipeline Consortium's (CPC) Black Sea Terminal near Novorossiisk.
The Black Sea region is regularly affected by severe storms that disrupt oil exports of up to 2 million barrels a day from Kazakhstan and Russia.
Two trading sources reported on Monday that oil exports from Novorossiisk were revised up 0.24 million metric tonnes from an initial plan, to 2.25 millions tons or about 590,000 barrels a day. David Evans (Reporting; Editing)
