Mare Forum Shipping Summit 2014 Will be Held in Dubai
Drydocks World & Maritime World, a provider of services to the international marine and maritime industry, announced that the Mare Forum Shipping Summit will be held in 2014 in Dubai, UAE.
The event which will be attended by leaders of both the regional and international industry will be the first time that this internationally recognized forum will be held in Dubai and will focus world-wide attention to the growing importance and emerging stature of Dubai within industry circles.
The Mare Forum considered by many to be the most global and influential forum for the maritime and marine industry will make its first ever foray into the Middle East and North Africa, the Indian sub-continent and Africa. Currently events are held in the U.S., Europe, South East Asia and South America only. It recognizes the global role played by UAE in general and Dubai in particular in leading ground breaking initiatives in the Maritime, offshore, oil, gas and energy sectors, its accepted position in international Maritime and shipping circles and the influence it wields on global business and trade. It holds a distinguished position within industry circles and maritime transport, and can make a major impact on international business. The event will focus strongly on the world and the Middle East, and the global economic shift from West to East and traditional navigational relations with Africa.

The dates and venue of Mare Forum Dubai Summit 2014 in Dubai will be announced shortly. Views from shipbrokers, traders, analysts and ship-owners and operators from all over the world will be debated to examine the issues related to the liquid, dry bulk and container market, funding and investments outlook as well as the outlook for new building, innovations in environmentally friendly projects, technological developments, smart investments and geopolitical issues and their impact on industry. The conference will also explore the future potential of the maritime and marine sectors in Dubai, such as those for Dubai Maritime City.
