L-S MSI to Exhibit at Cruise Shipping Miami

L-3 Marine Systems International (L-3 MSI) will showcase a range of systems and services for cruise ship operations, including automation, integrated navigation, dynamic positioning, onboard entertainment and drive systems, in Hall C, Stand 1931, at Cruise Shipping Miami, March 16-19.


L-3 noted that its highlights will include live demonstrations of the advanced NACOS Platinum series. Also featured as part of the demonstrations will be an L-3 Valmarine multifunctional VALMATIC Platinum automation system and an integrated DP Platinum system developed by L-3 Dynamic Positioning & Control Systems. These systems provide fully integrated functionality for vessels of all types and sizes and support shore-based fleet control operations and remote maintenance.

The company will also display its turnkey solutions and established drive capabilities, including advanced diesel-electric propulsion equipment with power ratings ranging from 2 MW to 28 MW. These features ensure optimum levels of safety and performance through a combination of innovative frequency converter design and redundant assembly layouts.

L-3 FUNA International will present wide-ranging solutions for a host of applications spanning AV, CCTV, broadcast communications, control, digital signage, fire safety, architectural and entertainment lighting, network/IP, public address, and satellite and security systems. Also featured will be smart sensor measurement equipment from L-3 APSS, Italy.
