ISS Wins EUKOR Global Service Award

Inchcape Shipping Services (ISS), a maritime services provider, has received a global award for best agency from EUKOR, a shipping company specializing in car transportation and other rolling cargo.


The award for ‘Best in Vessel Operation’ to ISS Philadelphia followed a full supplier evaluation and was awarded for its quality of port captain service, operations, logistics and outstanding contribution to EUKOR.

ISS provides agency services for EUKOR across the U.S. Gulf, East Coast and Canada. For the U.S. East Coast alone it carries around 400,000 cars annually into ports including Brunswick and Philadelphia.


EUKOR carries Hyundai and Kia cars around the world from South Korea, but also provides car transportation services to other leading automotive brands including Audi, BMW, Caterpillar, Chrysler, Daimler Benz, Ford, General Motors, Jaguar Land Rover, Mazda, Peugeot, Renault, Ssangyong, Suzuki, Volkswagen and Volvo.


Capt. S.C.Kim, ISS Port Captain for Korean Customers, was presented with the award by Sang Kim, Director of EUKOR and Head of EUKOR America.
