The naval architecture modules have been renovated in a single tool called FBASIC that incorporates new capabilities and interface working in conjunction with the general arrangement solution, to improve the tasks during the early design stage: forms generation, compartment generation and naval architecture calculations, SENER said.
A link with FEM tools is available in FORAN and incorporates new functionality, to ensure that a proper FORAN 3D model of structure is exported to run the calculations, while the virtual reality solutions allow to navigate through the model in an impressive environment to review the model, simulate operations and to study ergonomics, both in one face simulators or caves with multiple ones.
SENER will also present the different solutions to shipyards, ship-owners and design offices over the world: the design of any kind of vessel and offshore artifact, marine and offshore engineering and consultancy, supply of construction kit for ships, technical assistance, ship-owner surveyor and project review.
