New Permanent Mount LED Deck Light

January 13, 2016

Industrial lighting specialist Larson Electronics announced the release of a 30 watt LED deck light equipped with a 360° spindle that allows for complete rotation while being permanently mounted.
The DL-APB-LED-30W permanent mount LED deck light from Larson Electronics provides operators with a high powered lighting solution in applications where a low voltage light is preferred. The 30 watt PAR46 LED light emitter in this unit is highly resistant to damage from shocks and vibration as well as up to 80 percent more efficient than incandescent lights. This LED assembly has an average lifespan rating of 50,000 hours and draws only 2.5 amps on a 12 volt DC electrical system. Producing 2,700 lumens of intense light output, this light is available in a spot beam configuration that will produce a beam 600’ long by 100’ wide.

This deck light is equipped with a 360° spindle that allows the light to make complete rotations while being permanently mounted to a surface. Located above the spindle mount, a joint allows the light to be adjusted up or down by the operator. A chrome plated knob is located on the back of the unit to adjust the vertical tilt of the light. This permanently mounted LED deck light can be mounted to any flat surface using four small screws and a rubber gasket. Twenty four inches of wiring is provided with this unit to connect to any 12 volt DC power source. A single rocker switch located on the back of the unit provides the on/off operation. The DL-APB-LED-30W is ideal for operators who are seeking a high powered, independently adjusted light source for a patio or dock.
“This new LED light provides operators with 360° visibility with the turn of a knob,” said Rob Bresnahan with Larsonelectronics.com. “The LED light emitter is housed within a rugged weatherproof housing and can withstand vibrations and impacts that comparable incandescent lights cannot.”
