e4marine, Xantic Develop Operational Agreement

September 26, 2001

Marine e-commerce enabler e4marine and leading marine computer software supplier Xantic have co-operated in the development of a technical interface linking Xantic?s popular AMOS M&P planned maintenance and purchase system with e4marine?s e-commerce services. The new agreement between both parties brings the relationship between e4marine and Xantic even closer, establishing Xantic as a partner to e4marine with regards to installation, implementation and support for customers that use AMOS software towards e4marine?s services. By using Xantic, e4marine?s customers are assured of the best possible implementation and support service. As part of the new agreement between e4marine and Xantic, the partners have jointly developed an ?installation and implementation? package that puts the Xantic network in position to provide efficient quality services when a shipowner integrates to e4marine. When e4marine, one of its suppliers or Xantic itself identifies a ship operator with AMOS that wants to be integrated to e4marine, a formal contact is then established between the ship operator and the appropriate local Xantic office. The installation, implementation and support will then be carried out in close co-operation between all parties involved. This extended partnership reinforces e4marine?s position as the leading e-commerce enabler in the shipping industry, while at the same time improving Xantic?s product and service offer.
