Manson Construction has long been a pillar of the U.S. maritime industry, rooted in a tradition of U.S.-built, U.S.-owned, and U.S.-operated vessels. Libya's National Oil Corporation (NOC) said oil exports were continuing without disruption following talks with protesters at the Es Sider and Ras Lanuf ports on Tuesday."Operations are proceeding smoothly across all fields and ports after discussions with protesters who held demonstrations this morning at the Es Sider and Ras Lanuf ports," the NOC said in a statement on its Facebook page.According to five engineers and a shipping source, protesters had temporarily blocked oil loadings at the ports.

The outcomes include:Amendments to mandatory IGC and IGF Codes adoptedThe Committee adopted amendments to Chapter 16 of the IGC Code, related to the use as fuel of cargoes identified as toxic products, in the context of alternative fuels and new technologies. The amendments are expected to enter into force on July 1, 2026. The Committee adopted amendments to parts A and A-1 of the IGF Code relate to ship design, fire safety, ventilation and other safety issues.

AET, owner and operator of maritime transportation assets and specialised services and a member of the MISC Group, and the Singapore Maritime Foundation (SMF) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to jointly develop Singapore’s maritime talent pool.Under the MoU, AET will sponsor four scholarships and two internships per year from 2025 to 2027, continuing its support for the AET-MaritimeONE partnership.
