Eidsvaag Converts PSV to Fish Feed Carriers
Norwegian company that specializes in the distribution of fish feed Eidsvaag has contracted Damen to convert platform supply vessels (PSV) into highly demanded fish feed carriers.Damen Shiprepair Amsterdam (DSAm) is converting a platform supply vessel into a fish feed carrier that will improve efficiency and sustainability in the Norwegian aquaculture industry.“One of the main things that made Damen stand out as a strong candidate in the tender process was their previous experience with the vessel,” explains Vidar Eidsvaag, general manager and owner at Eidsvaag. Standard Drilling Sells PSV
Cyprus-based company active in the oil and gas industry S.D Standard Drilling signed Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) to sell one large Norwegian built Platform Supply Vessel (PSV), Standard Supporter for USD 15 million.The transaction was completed yesterday (10 December 2019). S.D Standard Drilling Plc. has, through its subsidiary, Standard Supporter AS, received the transaction amount in full. Following the sale, the Company will control, directly and indirectly, a fleet of 13 PSVs ; four large PSVs 100% owned and nine medium-sized PSVs with approximately 26% ownership interest, including one vessel on a bare boat contract.The company sold one UT 776 CD PSV vessel, Standard Supporter, for USD 15 million last month.
New Contracts, Extensions for MMA Offshore
MMA Offshore, the provider of marine solutions and expertise to the offshore oil and gas industry, has been awarded a number of new contract awards and extensions.AGR Australia has awarded MMA a two-vessel contract supporting the Noble Tom Prosser Rig as part of the Victorian government’s CarbonNet Project, said the Australian company.The contract is expected to start late this month with a duration of about 45 days, the owner and operator of 30+ offshore supply vessels said.Esso Australia Pty Ltd has awarded MMA a three-vessel contract, also supporting the Noble Tom Prosser Rig and commencing in direct continuation of the AGR contract.
Farstad Supply Sells PSV Far Swift
Norwegian offshore service and supply ship shipping company Solstad Offshore said that its wholly owned subsidiary Farstad Supply AS has sold the platform supply vessel (PSV) Far Swift.Delivery of the 2003-built vessel to the new owner took place October 31st, 2019, said a press note.The sale of the vessels will have a minor positive accounting effect for 4Q 2019, it said.Farstad Supply AS manufactures and supplies offshore vessels. The company offers anchor handling tug, platform supply, and sub-sea vessels for material transportation, as well as provides logistic services.
Simon Mokster Sells PSV Stril Neptun
Norwegian offshore support vessels company Simon Mokster Rederi said that it has sold the 3,000-dwt platform supply vessel (PSV) Stril Neptun to Greek interest for work outside the offshore shipping segment.Stril Neptun was delivered back in 1999 and has served long contracts as combined standby and supply on the NCS for Exxon (now Vår Energi), Equinor and BP/Aker BP for many years.The vessel is delivered to the new owners and will head to the Mediterranian early November, said a press note."Møkster is grateful to all seafarers, office personnel and other parties having had work related to the vessel for almost 20 years," the release said.

Solstad Sells PSV Far Star
Norwegian offshore service and supply ship shipping company Solstad Offshore said that its subsidiary Farstad Supply has sold the platform supply vessel (PSV) Far Star.1999-built Brazilian-flagged was sold to an undisclosed buyer.The delivery of the vessel to the new owner took place on Tuesday, August 6, said Solstad Offshore.Solstad added that the sale would have an immaterial accounting effect for the third quarter of 2019.Solstad Offshore now has 60 platform supply vessels in its fleet.

Norwegian offshore supply vessel provider Golden Energy Offshore (GEO) named two platform supply vessels (PSVs).The company's CEO Per Ivar Fagervoll said that the sister vessels Energy Empress and Energy Duchess were named on 29 June 2019. Norwegian offshore service and supply ship shipping company Solstad Offshore has been awarded contracts for two platform supply vessels (PSVs) in Norway.Solstad said in a press release that Wintershall Dea had awarded a 10-well firm plus options contract to support its West Mira rig drilling campaign. The offshore support vessel provider for the global oil and gas industry, K Line Offshore has sold one of its platform supply vessels (PSV) to Gard Supply AS.The Norway-based offshore division of Japan's K Line said that the the 2004-built PSV KL Arendalfjord is its very first ship."A Protocol of Delivery and Acceptance was signed and KL Arendalfjord was delivered by K Line Offshore AS(KOAS) to Gard Supply AS in Tønsberg, Norway," said the press release from the shipowning and operating company with high end PSVs and two of the world's most powerful AHTS. KL Arendalfjord was delivered from Vard, Brevik in 2004 and acquired through a long term bareboatcharter by KOAS in 2009.The vessel is the UT755L-type with deck area of 680m2.

Bermuda-headquartered platform supply vessels (PSVs) operator Nordic American Offshore (NAO) announced that it has completed the previously announced acquisition of thirteen vessels from Scorpio Offshore Holdings Inc.Emanuele A. Lauro, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, commented “With the completion of this acquisition and the first drawdown under our Equity Line, NAO has achieved critical short-term milestones of reducing our financial leverage and increasing our liquidity. Seacor Marine Acquires Three Cosco PSVs
The offshore marine support vessels operator Seacor Marine Holdings announced it has entered into definitive agreements to acquire three platform supply vessels (PSVs) from Cosco Shipping Heavy Industry, an affiliate of Cosco Shipping Group, the world’s largest ship owner.Aggregate consideration for the vessels will be approximately $46 million, of which 30% will be paid in cash and 70% will be paid under a four-year deferred payment agreement between Seacor Marine and Cosco Zhoushan.Half of the cash payment will be funded in the first quarter of 2019 with the balance per vessel to be paid upon physical delivery of each vessel. Ørsted Hires NHV for Borssele Offshore Wind Farm
The Belgium-based NHV group, which is specialized in B-to-B helicopter services and has a strong geographic presence in Europe and Western Africa, said that it has signed new contract with Ørsted to provide helicopter services in support of the Borssele 1+2 Offshore Wind farm.The oil and gas industry focused helicopter services provider said that the operations are expected to start in May 2020. Nautilus Minerals to Acquire Production Support Vessel
The underwater mineral exploration company headquartered in Toronto Nautilus Minerals Inc. is currently negotiating the terms of an agreement with arm's length third parties that would involve the creation of a new joint venture company - Vessel JV - to be owned by the third parties and Nautilus’ subsidiary, Nautilus Minerals Niugini Limited (NMN).The purpose of the Vessel JV would be to fund the acquisition of the Production Support Vessel (PSV) that Nautilus had previously arranged to be procured through MAC Goliath Pte Ltd (MAC) and the integration costs of installing the mining equipment on the PSV.The Vessel JV would own and operate the fully integrated PSV.
Solstad Offshore Wins PSV Contract from Allseas
Swiss-based offshore contractor has hired two platform supply vessels (PSVs) from Norwegian offshore shipping company Solstad Offshore.Norwegian offshore service and supply ship shipping company said in a press release that Allseas contracts are for two PSVs, “Normand Naley” (2011, VS 485) and “Sea Supra” (2014, PX105), for pipe-haul duties.Both contracts are for 70 days firm plus options with commencement first half of December 2018, said the release.Solstad have a modern and competitive fleet consisting of 141 vessels. Allseas owns and operates a state-of-the-art fleet of specialised heavy-lift, pipelay and subsea installation vessels designed and built in-house.
