Green Yard Kleven and the Brazilian shipowner Oceanica have signed a contract to convert the vessel Oceanicasub XVII from an Anchor Handling Tug Supply (AHTS) vessel to a ship capable of performing Remote Operated Vehicle (ROV) operations.Oceanicasub XVII will be equipped with mezzanine decks for ROV equipment, extended crew capacity, and areas for charterers. Norwegian shipyard Green Yard Kleven AS has secured a retrofit project with Brazilian offshore vessel owner Oceanica.This is the fourth contract signed with the same shipowner that includes the reactivation and rebuilding of offshore ships bought from Norwegian shipowners.The vessel, named Oceanicasub X, is a 78-meter anchor handling vessel which will be rebuilt for operations off the coast of Brazil. Green Yard Kleven to Refit Two Oceanica PSVs

Green Yard Kleven in Norway said it has signed a contract with Brazilian shipowner Oceanica to convert two platform supply vessels (PSV) for operations with remotely operated underwater vehicles (ROV) and offshore crane.The two ships, both Marin Teknikk MT6009 design, have recently been purchased by Oceanica. One is already at Green Yard Kleven, and the other will arrive at the shipyard in the next few days. Solstad Sells PSV Normand Corona

Solstad Rederi AS, a wholly owned subsidiary of Norwegian-based offshore shipowner Solstad Offshore ASA, has sold the platform supply vessel (PSV) Normand Corona.The 85.65-meter-long Normand Corona was built at Kleven Verft in 2006.The vessel was handed over to its new owner on June 14, 2022.Solstad said the sale will result in a "minor positive accounting effect" to be reflected in the second quarter of 2022.

Norwind Offshore, a Norwegian offshore wind-focused vessel owner has taken delivery of its first vessel - the Norwind Breeze - from Vard.The delivery took place Monday at 1 p.m. local time from Vard, Brattvåg, in Norway. ConocoPhillips Extends Solstad PSV Trio

Three Solstad Offshore platform supply vessels (PSV) have secured new contracts with energy company ConocoPhillips Skandinavia, the Norwegian offshore vessels owner announced on Thursday.Normand Server, Normand Supporter and Normand Fortune, each on charter with ConocoPhillips Scandinavia since 2018, have been extended to continue support activities on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.The new contracts will start in direct continuation of current firm periods, and keep the vessels fully utilized to Q1/Q2 2027.The three vessels were built from 2011 through 2013 at Norwegian yards (Normand Fortune at Kleven and Normand Supporter and Normand Server at Vard Langsten) and range from 85.6 to 94.2 meters in length. Each is fitted with battery-hybrid systems in addition to shore power.

Norwegian offshore vessel owner Siem Offshore has been awarded a six-month extension for the AHTS Siem Topaz in Australia. Siem Offshore shared the news on Wednesday, without disclosing the identity of the client.The Siem Topaz is a low emission anchor handler that is suitable for anchor handling, deep water inspection, and construction work. It was built by Kleven in Norway in 2010.Siem Offshore said that the contract extension secured utilization for the 91-meter vessel until February 2022. According to AIS data by MarineTraffic, the vessel is currently at anchor at Geelong, Australia.
