Intertek, SOCAR Enter Service Sontract

Intertek has signed a contract with the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) to provide crude oil assay and gas analysis services.
 
The information gathered will help shape the design and construction of their new Oil-Gas Processing and Petrochemical Complex (OGPC) near Baku city. Intertek will perform a variety of services including sample gathering, testing locally in Baku and full crude assay analysis within its U.K. North Sea operations. The work will take around six months to complete.
 
Intertek has undertaken work for various divisions within SOCAR for the past 16 years. The Intertek Baku office has been open since 1997 and the local team provides inspection and testing services for sectors including shipping, oil and gas, food and water quality.
