PARAT Halvorsen Awarded Boiler Contracts

PARAT Halvorsen AS awarded 4 new boiler contracts from Tersan Shipyard.

Parat Halvorsen AS has been awarded in all 4 boiler plant contracts with TERSAN Shipyard in Turkey and their Stern Trawlers ST-116 new buildings. The boiler plants will be equipped with Parat combined oil fired and exhaust gas boilers, type MCS, to comply steam production for the freezer trawlers fishmeal and fish oil factory. The exhaust gas section is specially designed for high steam production during low load on the ship’s engine.

The vessels are of modern design where all harvesting will be taken care of and will meet the strictest emissions requirements. The new buildings, contracted by Strand Havfiske AS, Giske Havfiske AS and AS  Andenes Havfiskeselskap, will have a length of approx 75 m, with of 15,4m and will be furnished for approx 30 crew members.
