Transas Takes Malaysian Orders forTraffic Management Systems

Transas Marine Pacific, in cooperation with its partner KASI Malaysia Sdn Bhd, was awarded two contracts for installation of Vessel Traffic Management Systems in Tawau Port and Kimanis Bay Terminal.

With these orders Transas continues its growth in the Malaysian market. Implementation of the projects will be carried out in close cooperation with Transas strategic partner KASI (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, integrated marine solutions provider.

Scope of supply includes Transas state-of-the-art Navi-Harbor VTS software package, two 19-foot Radars, two Transas AIS Base Station T214, two Transas CCTV, 2 X VHF Direction Finders, two Standalone Playback workplaces and six Operator Workplaces.

Together with KASI, Transas carried out a series of projects and initiatives including installation of Vessel Traffic Management Systems in Sapangar Bay Container Terminal, Sandakan and Lahad Datu ports.
