USCG Evacuates Man with Leg Injury Near Nixon Beach

A rescue crew from Coast Guard Station Miami Beach, Florida, medically evacuated a male in the vicinity of Nixon Beach, Florida, Saturday.

Watchstanders at Coast Guard Sector Miami received a report from a crewmember aboard a 53-foot catamaran, Mariah, of a 37-year-old male passenger who required emergency medical services after suffering an injury to his leg after jumping off the boat.

A boatcrew from Coast Guard Station Miami Beach arrived on scene and transported the male to Mercy Hospital in Miami.
