Detyens Shipyards Employees Feast Early

As is tradition, Detyens Shipyards hosts an annual Thanksgiving feast at the shipyard for its workers, the occasion used to also distribute the annual performance bonus checks for every employee. Per Maritime Reporter & Engineering News’ recent interview with D. Loy Stewart, Jr., owner of Detyens Shipyards, this year’s bonus pool provided each worker with the equivalent of approximately six weeks of pay.
