Denholm joined the family business as an accountant in 1981 after qualifying as a chartered accountant. He has since held the roles of Group Accountant, Group Finance Director, and Group Managing Director and is currently Group Chairman and Chief Executive. Denholm is also President of BIMCO as well as holding Directorships with a number of other companies and organizations.

Claudio Chiste, SPNL Chairman, said members are set to get a lot out of the evening. “We are absolutely delighted to be given the opportunity to hear John Denholm speak about the history of BIMCO from his own perspective as a shipowner. Having such a key figure speaking at one of our events is testament to how well-regarded SPNL and its members are within the shipping industry.”

The event will take place on Thursday, April 24 at the Norton Rose Fulbright Offices in More London Place from 6:30 p.m. and will allow for a question and answer session after speeches as well as the usual networking opportunities.
