Fincantieri: New Design for MSC Seashore

A traditional maritime coin ceremony  took place at the Fincantieri shipyard in Monfalcone, Italy, when the keel was laid for MSC Seashore. Lifeboat Converted Into Unsinkable Solar-Powered Arctic Excursion Boat

The ‘Stodig’ (Norwegian for ‘steady’) was designed by British architects Guylee Simmonds and David Schnabel as a comfortable excursion vessel for Arctic journeys. The solar-powered vessel is able to right itself when capsized and has been dubbed ‘the unsinkable solar lifeboat’.

Stena Installs Japanese Sleeping Pods

Carnival Plans $200 Mln Cruise Ship Makeover

Carnival Cruise Line will spend nearly $200 million on a major makeover of the 1999-built Carnival Triumph.
