Alion Wins $3.2m Deal

Alion Science and Technology was awarded a $3.2 million task order to provide program management, engineering, IT and acquisition support to the Commander, Navy Expeditionary Combat Command (COMNECC) in Virginia Beach, VA. The three-year task order was awarded under the Logistics Maintenance and Supply Support (LMSS) contract vehicle. Alion will provide program management, acquisition support, technical and engineering support to COMNECC’s Warfare Requirements Directorate, a variety of technical support to the Command, Control, Communications and Computers (C4) Directorate, and financial management support to the Logistics and Financial Management Directorate. CSC Awarded $368m Navy Order

CSC announced on Feb. 5 that the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) has awarded the company a task order to continue providing professional engineering support services. The contract has a one-year base period and four one-year options, bringing the estimated total five-year contract value to $368m. Coast Guard Extends Deepwater Contract

CSC Wins $27M Navy Training Order

Computer Sciences Corporation has received a task order from the Navy Program Executive Officer for Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS) to develop shiphandling simulators and provide enhanced instructional support. The task order, which has one base year and four one-year options, has an estimated value to CSC exceeding $27 million if all options are exercised. New USACE Contract

Great Lakes Dredge a Dock Co., LLC, Oak Road, Ill., was awarded on March 26 a $9,663,200 firm-fixed-price contract for the dredging of the Mississippi River harbors.  Work is to be determined with each task order, with an estimated completion date of Dec. 31, 2010.  Bids were solicited on the World Wide Web with two bids received. U.S. Army Engineer District Memphis, Memphis, Tenn., is the contracting activity (W912EQ-10-D-0011).

The Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Dahlgren has named ESRI an approved prime contractor on the SeaPort Enhanced (SeaPort-e) online portal.
