MAN Diesel & Turbo, QMD Ink License Agreement at SMM

On Tuesday September 9, 2014 at Hamburg’s SMM Marine trade fair, MAN Diesel & Turbo signed a new license agreement with QMD, a member of the CSIC Group together with Dalian Marine Diesel Co., Ltd. and Yichang Marine Diesel Engine Co., Ltd. In the process, QMD became MAN Diesel & Turbo’s 12th Chinese licensee. QMD (Qingdao Haixi Marine Diesel Co., Ltd) can boast of a modern facility dedicated to the production of large, two-stroke engines in NE China. Wärtsilä and Nuclep Sign License Agreement

Wärtsilä entered into license agreement with Brazilian company Nuclebras Equipamentos Pesados SA. The agreement grants Nuclep the right to manufacture certain types of Wärtsilä's most modern electronically controlled common rail two-stroke marine diesel engines between 50 and 68 cm bore size at their premises in Itaguai with a targeted annual output of six to ten engines. The first delivery of a Wärtsilä engine is scheduled for beginning of 2008.


Grants Licenses To Build Seven F&G Designs

MHI to License KU Gas Engine Technologies to ZGPT of China

Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. (MHI) concluded an agreement with ZGPT Diesel Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. (ZGPT), a Chinese manufacturer of stationary and marine engines, under which MHI will license its KU gas engine technologies to ZGPT. The move is targeted in the near term at seeking further penetration of the KU gas engines in the Chinese market as that market continues to mark robust growth, and beyond the near term at entering the local market for gas-fired distributed power generation


Mitsubishi: First-Ever Licensing Deal to Chinese for Marine Propellers

Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Marine Machinery & Engine Co., Ltd. (MHI-MME), a group company of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. (MHI),  concluded a licensing agreement with Changzhou Zhonghai Marine Propeller Co., Ltd. EMGS Reports $1.6m Multi-client Sales
