Evergreen Line Launches Express Service

Evergreen Line has announced the launch of its new combined weekly service with Sea Consortium Pte LTd. on the Arabian Express Service (ASX) that commenced December 27, 2008.

The new joint ASX will begin with the departure of the 700 TEU vessel, Martha Russ 108N, from the port of Colombo and will operate a weekly service with rotation as follows:
Colombo - Kandla - Mundra - Karachi - Nhava Sheva - Colombo

The joint service will enhance Evergreen's extensive feeder network in Europe and the Mediterranean as well as expand trade to and from India and Pakistan.
