LNG Sabine Pass Terminal Contract Signed
Cheniere Energy Partners' subsidiary Sabine Pass Liquefaction signs a LNG sale and purchase agreement with Total Gas & Power North America. Cheniere Partners owns 100 percent of the Sabine Pass LNG terminal located on the Sabine Pass Channel in western Cameron Parish, Louisiana. The Sabine Pass LNG terminal has regasification and send-out capacity of 4.0 billion cubic feet per day (Bcf/d) and storage capacity of 16.9 billion cubic feet equivalent (Bcfe).
Long-term Charter for OSV 'SeaMar Splendid'
SeaMar Shipping awarded long term Inspection, Repair & Maintainance (IRM) contract by GDF Suez for its OSV 'SeaMar Splendid'. The SeaMar Shipping vessel has been awarded a five-year contract with GDF SUEZ E&P Nederland B.V. to support its operations on the Dutch Shelf over the period 2013-2017 with a minimum 250 day per year commitment. This contract represents a significant step in SeaMar’s development.

STX France Wins 'Oasis-class' Cruise Ship Contract
Royal Caribbean International chooses STX France to build its third 'Oasis- class' ship. This, the third ship of the Oasis- class, is due for delivery in mid-2016, and an option for a second ship due in mid-2018 is also provided for in the contract. "The Oasis of the Seas and Allure of the Seas have fundamentally transformed the cruise experience for our guests," said Richard D. Fain, chairman and chief executive officer of Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd.
M/V Aiviq
The M/V Aiviq icebreaker, contracted by Shell Oil to support drilling in Alaska’s Chukchi Sea, was ordered in July 2009 and completed by Edison Chouest Offshore in early 2012. The $200m Aiviq is the largest vessel ever built by Chouest, and will be among the most advanced and powerful, non-military icebreakers on the waters. In order for a ship to be “ice class,” the hull must be thick, and extra girders, beams and bulkheads are needed for structural integrity.
